Matriki Beach Huts offers budget Aitutaki accommodation for your Cook Islands vacation in self catering beachfront huts. All huts are self-servicing, the Garden hut has it's own ensuite shower and toilet, while the others have their own shower, but share a toilet facility at the back of the property. All linens, towels and bedding is provided. Each hut is equipped for cooking with a 2 burner stove, small fridge, pots & pans, cutlery, glasses, toaster, electric kettle, and cooking utensils. Free filtered raiwater for drinking is on site.

Beachfront Beach Hut Accommodation

• We have a 12 square meter beachfront beach hut with secluded deck overlooking the beach, the western Aitutaki island lagoon and the ocean beyond the reef. It comes with fridge and cooking facilities, an outside shower under the trees and stars (warm and cold water). The windows are screened only, providing plenty of ventilation. There are shutters  for rainy weather. The double bed is mosquito netted and has a futon on top of a foam mattress.

TreeHouse Accomodation

Our Treehouse accommodation offers two huts one above the other. The Treehouse upstairs hut comes with kitchen facilities, fridge, dining table, screened double bed with futon over foam mattress, a large private deck and separate outside shower downstairs.

 

The Coral Hut below is the largest at 17.5 square meters and comes with a double 

and and extra single bed, both with inner spring mattresses, kitchen facilities, fridge, dining table, shower out the back with inside hut access and a deck to the beach. Both have screened windows for ventilation and shutters for bad weather.

The Treehouse beach huts can sleep 2 upstairs and 3 down stairs. They are individual beachfront accommodations, but can be rented together for a family group.

The Garden Unit             

• Our garden unit budget Aitutaki accommodation is a 16 square meter room built onto the side of the main house, 30m back from the beach. It has a separate entrance via a deck to the hills, kitchen facilities, ensuite shower and toilet, a mosquito netted queen bed with inner spring mattress, and a fold-down single bed. There are ocean & beach views over the garden and views to the hills from the deck at the back. It is also screened but with louvre shutters for privacy and wind & rain protection.

This unit is on the beach, but set back behind a garden and lawn.
